ILONA POSNER is a Usability Consultant, working in the area of Human Computer Interaction for 20 years. She has consulted for Yahoo, Visa, Apple, Bell, Sympatico.ca, Human Factors International, National Research Council of Canada, and other companies in Canada and the U.S..
Prior to consulting she spent over a decade doing usability research at the University of Toronto's Dynamic Graphics Project. She holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
Ilona enjoys teaching and has been on Faculty at the Canadian Film Centre’s New Media Lab since 2000. In 2004 she returned to the University of Toronto to teach the same course that inspired her to pursue her career and is hoping to instill the appreciation of the users’ needs in the next generation of technology experts.
